sun you will see to the south with temperatures at 63 in santa cruz and santa rosa and upper 50's to low 60's for most of us. the next couple of days the pattern shifts tomorrow. a cooler trends starts on wednesday and first chance of rain is thursday with temperatures in the middle-to-upper 50's. sue has a new accident. >> i did. westbound at the bay bridge toll plaza. the left-hand cash lanes are stacked up because there is an accident at the toll plaza and crews are on the scene to push the cars out of there and someone was paying a toll and someone slammed into the back of them. no metering lights but the reason no the delay is an accident at the plaza. southbound 680 at scott creek road an accident blocking the off ramp and tow truck is on the scene getting the accident out of there north 87 the guadalupe parkway, that should be cleared any time. here is a look at drive times headed out 580 over the san mateo bridge and 101 over santa rosa. >> new this morning, when the 49ers next season fades into memory, so will san francisco's candlestick park. the city plans to blow up th

. we're noticing your visibility dropping off from santa rosa to napa only about a quarter mile to half mile visibility and that goes for fairfield as well. concord starting to drop off. taking you to future cast. we stop the clock for you at 8:00 a.m. mostly cloudy conditions across the greater bay area. the clouds will serve as a blanket and trap in some of the warmth and that means it's not going to be too bitter cold this morning. and we'll lose a lot of that cloud cover by 11:00. onshore flow means a cool sea breeze throughout the day. you'll probably need that jacket especially in our coastal communities. we have the most sunshine between 1:00 and 2:00 over the greater bay area today. 65 degrees in livermore. 65 in gilroy. 63 in beautiful san jose. 64 degrees in fairfield. as we head throughout the afternoon, highs coming in between 3:30 and 4:00 this time of year and then the sun goes down around 5:30 p.m. we'll have your full forecast and let you know when showers arrive and when you will need that umbrella coming up in my next report. first, let's check on the roads with mike.

for oakland, san francisco, 48 currently. 39 already in santa rosa. and san jose down to 46 degrees. tonight, we will see some 30s, upper 30s in the south bay. 35 for santa rosa and pacifica, 46. satellite and radar review will show you the ridge of high pressure is holding on. as that ridge begins to move away from us we will go from northerly north easterly wind. it will cool us down. cooler air moving in before we get showers. tomorrow, mainly sunny, mild again. the cool air will be here in the middle of the week and showers for the first time all month long will be here starting on thursday. highs tomorrow, san jose, 62. concord, 61. vallejo, 59. notice will cool down already with the onshore flow. right along the coast. 52. sanfrancisco, 54. here is the extended forecast. low 60ss inland. staying dry. upper 50ss near the bay. low 50s at the coast. here comes the first rain of the month on thursday. rain showers likely lingering into friday and right now a quick look at next weekend looking dry. cooler than this weekend. the beautiful bay

to get rid of because of the low sun. still veto a half mile in santa rosa and three miles in oakland and four in hayward and two in san jose so everywhere but fairfield, dealing with the low clouds. the temperatures have been kept mild because of this, in the mid-40's too low 50's. that is all we can get, not much warm from the where we were this morning. mid-to-upper 40's at monterey bay and 50 in gilroy so we have pockets of sunshine this afternoon, and cooler days this week, and that will end with a chance light rain on thursday, and cool showers on friday and the storm is coming down great alaska so that means our hilltops if there is enough moisture left on friday could get a dusting of snow. the temperatures, today, a far cry from where we were last time on friday, we looked at mid-to-upper 60's and now we have mid-to-upper 50's. you can see by the blue the clouds will linger longer and the green is the warmer temperature, the 60's, out of the bay area that is where we are seeing it, with fog in monterey bay, the blue is here, and salinas and monterey and outside of that, we ar

novato and 39 santa rosa and 50 in antioch where the clouds are sitting. 47 fremont and san francisco 48 and we have 46 right now in san jose. here is a look at our forecast. as i mentioned low clmuds and pockets of dense fog overnight. look for midday clearing. we will see afternoon sunshine for your monday, and really enjoy monday and tuesday. the clouds will chicken up and then rain returns by the end of our workweek. and much colder temperatures. speaking of cold temperatures as you just noted, temperatures are already in the 30s. we will see them slip a few more . 36 for santa rosa. we will keep 40s around the bay area with san francisco 45 and 41 for san jose. the set up high pressure it has been with us the past four or five days bringing us the mild weather pattern. it will stay with us through about wednesday. after that the high starts to break down. i will go ahead and move ahead to 5:00 a.m. wednesday. you can see the clouds thickening up. this is worth taking a look at. it is mainly dry conditions on wednesday, but check out thursday. that's 5:00 a.m. thursday. you can see

in santa rosa for a man who disappeared in a state park. it started when a couple called 911 to report a man in a pickup truck had followed them to their house and was strangely. by the time police had got there, the man had reportedly walked into annandale state park. around the same time, family members called to say he was missing and suffering from mental health issues. then a few hours later a mountain biker reported coming across a man in that park who was naked and chanting. >> mountain biker saw that. did not confront it or talk to him and then came down and reported that to us. last night henry as well as some deputies from the sheriff's department did a ground search, an aerial. we were unable to locate him and it was decided based upon the fact the reported sighting, that we would call out the search and rescue team. >> reporter: a woman at the scene who identified herself as the man's wife described him agency 6'6" with sandy brown hair and about 185 pounds. >>> police in fairfield continue to search for answers and a suspect in the case of a girl found dead in a park frida
